We had a fantastic time at the Erie Chamber of Commerce's Inaugural Wine & Cheese Festival last weekend! The wind tried its best to blow us away, but we served up samples and enjoyed the pairings even so!

The last week or so has been one fun thing after another! We took part in an Adult Cooking Class at the Gardens on Spring Creek, participated in the Vintage Affair at the new CSU Stadium, had a staff outing at Scrumpy's Hard Cider Bar, and had several on-site events to boot! September has been so fun!
The Gardens on Spring Creek's Adult Cooking Class series was so much fun this summer, we can't wait for next year! Check out all of their educational classes at this link: www.fcgov.com/gardens/programsspecial-events/special-events. Cheers to drinking & eating local!
Our owner/winemaker Kate is also a nurse for Pathways Hospice, the beneficiary of the Vintage Affair fundraiser. This year, it was held at the new CSU Stadium and we poured LPW for attendees! Check out Pathways here: pathways-care.org/ and learn more about the Vintage Affair event here: pathways-care.org/ava/. Thanks to Wilbur's Total Beverage for organizing this fantastic event!
Lost Prairie Winery is a proud member of the Northern Colorado Food Cluster, a group of businesses dedicated to building food, beverage, and agricultural industries in Northern Colorado. We attended their quarterly meeting last night, which featured presentations about small business and agriculture. The opportunity to meet other folks in the food & beverage industries is always great, and we enjoyed every moment!
The focus of the presentations was food & agriculture business resources, and we heard presentations from the Larimer County Small Business Development Center, Innosphere, Colorado Proud and the Colorado State University Extension program. Getting to hear about the fantastic resources available in our community was pretty great, and we know that many of the attendees can directly apply the advice given at the presentation in their businesses!
In addition to the great presentations, there were a variety of delicious local beverages for attendees to enjoy. We love to support local, and we were lucky to be in such great company at this event!
Dessert was a tasty selection of hand crafted cupcakes created by June Poppies. Delicious & perfectly sized to try a couple! YUM!

The LPW Staff always has a great time on our staff outings, from visiting our friends & partners for a glass of wine and a snack to team building events, we know how to have a good time!
Our partners are always welcoming and fun, and we really enjoy getting out and about and taking advantage of all the great spots Fort Collins has to offer!
Do you have a favorite spot that should have LPW wine available? Let us know in the comments! Cheers to living local!
We've had a festival-filled August! We participated in the Garden A'Fare at the Gardens on Spring Creek, the Estes Park Wine Festival, the Front Range Wine Festival, and the Fort Collins Peach festival in the span of just two weeks!
The Garden A'Fare is a fantastic event held at the Gardens on Spring Creek every year, where we pair four LPW wines with courses prepared by six local restaurants. Each course includes fresh produce grown at the gardens. Check out some of our photos below!
